The Vietnamese and Australian national teams are staying at Hanoi’s first gold-plated hotel ahead of their match at My Dinh Stadium tonight at 7 PM.

While waiting for their 2022 World Cup qualifying match on September 7th at My Dinh Stadium, the Vietnamese and Australian national teams are staying at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Hanoi. With its convenient location near My Dinh Stadium and luxurious ambiance, it’s no surprise that this hotel has become a popular accommodation choice for many teams playing in Vietnam.

The Grand Plaza Hanoi Hotel is one of the capital’s most luxurious 5-star hotels. Opened in September 2010, the Grand Plaza is also known as Hanoi’s first gold-plated hotel, boasting 31 floors and 618 rooms with a luxurious design, owned by the South Korean Charmvit Group.

Many sources suggest that the actual investment for this project nearly doubled the initial figure of $160 million.

The Grand Plaza Hotel is where the Vietnamese and Australian teams stayed before their match on September 7th.

A special feature is the exquisite gold leaf detailing on many decorative elements, from the ceilings of the corridors to the tall pillars.

The Grand Plaza Hotel offers Deluxe, Palour Suite, Executive Suite, Plaza Suite, Chamvit Suite, and premium suites such as the Presidential Suite and Royal Suite, with areas up to 410m2.

In addition, the Hanoi Plaza Hotel also features a meeting room with a capacity of approximately 800 people; a golf practice area, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and other public amenities to cater to the recreational needs of guests.

The lobby area of the Grand Plaza Hanoi hotel is gilded with gold.

Many details at this hotel are exquisitely gilded.

Luxury rooms such as Chamvit Suite and Presidential Suite. The cost of renting
a room here ranges from 1.5 to 12 million VND, depending on the room type.

Not only are the rooms dazzling and radiant with warm golden hues, but many of them are
also furnished with elegant and modern furniture and amenities…

Guests can also enjoy a variety of services including restaurants, entertainment, fitness facilities, and an indoor swimming pool.

Grand Plaza Hanoi is one of the top-performing hotels in the capital city.

In 2018, Grand Plaza Hanoi achieved VND 900 billion in revenue and VND 500 billion in pre-tax profit. Compared to 2016, Grand Plaza’s revenue increased by 42%, while profit increased by 75%.

Among the leading hotels in Hanoi, Grand Plaza’s revenue is only slightly less than Metropole’s, but its profit is nearly 1.5 times higher. The pre-tax profit margin on revenue reached 56%, significantly higher than the 30-40% of most other large 5-star hotels.

Grand Plaza Hanoi’s outstanding business performance compared to the hotel industry may be due in part to the significant contribution from the Charmvit Office Tower.
